Ted Bundy said the Coral Gables dentist, Dr. Richard Souviron, violated professional ethics and a court order when he reported his conclusions on the bite-mark evidence at a pathology seminar in Orlando in October 1978.
Coward said the disclosures also troubled him and he wanted to learn from Souviron whether his purpose was purely scientific and if he was aware at the time of a court order sealing all information about the bite-mark evidence.
The court order was signed nearly six months before the seminar was held.
On May 24, 1979, Ted Bundy, sat six feet from the television set playback of a video-tape of Souviron’s 80 minute lecture to the seminar and called it « very sobering. »
